Cause my school hours are so long that i sit in the lecture and my pigu gets numb!
3hours of Lab lesson - taught by grey hair monster..
she talk as if we are primary school kids. -Oh Fine!
Afterwhich, have lunch break - pathetic sandwich -.-
den My badri lesson, jitao cannot make it. so tired & his accent gan pua (Y) !
next is Poa Tutorial. very tired. omg. so tired!
Accompany Bitch to print something den homed wit Meiting! :D
talk crap in the train and reached home abt 7pm ! SO DEAD!
Received Elson's call when i just lay my butt on the sofa.
chat for awhile and hang up. den rot all the way.
Okay, so the lessons i've learnt today goes like this ..
Polygon, frequency is the y-axis & x-axis is class midpoints.
Ogive - used for cumulative frequency (more than/less than)
Then.. Mean, Median, Mode.
Mean = Average (sample & population)
S : Summation of all the data / n
P : Summation of all the data / N
Median - Middle numberrrrrrrr !
Badri says must remember if not he appear in my dreams (i like!) HAHA.
Even if there's outliers, it doesnt affect the median calculated prev.
Formula : (n + 1 / 2 )
Mode - appear the most number of times.
&lastly, the advantages and disadvantages for the 3Ms!
Mean
(-) 1. Tedious when there's too much 'n'
2. Cannot be computed when there's an open-ended classes.
3. Affected when there's outliers/extreme values.
Median
(+) 1. Exist in qualitative datas.
2. Alternative for mean as it is particular useful :
- datas has open-ended classes.
- datas consists of outliers.
3. Appropriate for distribution that are skewed.
Mode
(+) 1. Can be use even if there's open-ended classes.
2. Not affected by extreme values.
3. can be used in both qualitative and quantitative datas
(-)1. No mode or too many mode.
